Call for Artists: Governor’s Office in Pittsburgh Seeks Artwork — Submit by Thursday!

The Governor’s office in Pittsburgh is in the process of converting its walls into an art space. The office will feature various kinds of art, on a rotating basis, throughout the year.

If you are interested in submitting your work for consideration, please send your resume or artist statement and up to 3 works of art via email to Kharvey@pghtech.org by this THURSDAY, October 27.  Images can be attached or shared via weblink. Images must be no larger than 1meg each. Please include framed image size and media along with submission.

All media and subject matter will be considered. Special areas of interest are Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania-themed artwork or photography, or any work regarding Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania’s history.

Call for Entries: ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists

ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists is currently looking for entries for their 2012 Exhibition Schedule. Christopher Lynn (Executive Director of SPACES in Cleveland, Ohio), Danielle Julian Norton (professional artist represented by Cynthia Reeves Gallery in New York), and Justine Ludwig (Assistant Curator at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio) will select the artists. Each selected artist will be grouped with one to two other artists. Group exhibitions may be submitted with a show concept proposal for the space.

All submissions must be received by:
Saturday, September 24th, 2011.
Work submitted should not be dated older than 2008.

EntryFee
There is a $30 entry fee for non-members.

Entry fee is waived for Artist level and above members of ROY.
