The hottest ride in Disney World this summer is now on video!
TOY STORY MANIA is a plug and play released last month and developed by Schell Games in the South Side, a company riding the wave of some of the coolest gaming technology in the world.
Toy Story Mania! is the home version of the latest ride to open in the Disney theme parks, making it the most sought after FastPass this summer. Better than Buzz Lightyear, the ride zips you into a midway where Woody and gang greet you. Riders rack up points using a spring-action shooter that points virtual projectiles–like paintballs–at targets to score points. The 4-D effect gives players a new dimension of experience, a puff of air, spritz of water, the splat of the paintball.
The home version may prepare you for the park ride, notes Schell, but offers a greater variety of targets.
