The Great Pittsburgh Arts Council is looking for business volunteers to assist regional arts organizations as listed below:
ARTS ORGANIZATION REQUESTS
~AppalAsia, a performing ensemble that combines musical forms from Appalachia and China, is finishing its first CD and seeks assistance expanding its marketing plan to include the national/international market. [case 481 ~ 4th Listing after revision]
~Prime Stage Theater, which serves educators and students through live theater and literature, seeks assistance drafting a marketing plan. [case 501 – 2nd Listing]
~Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society, seeks assistance designing a new marketing plan around its 50th anniversary season in 2011-12. [case 538 – 2nd Listing]
~Musicians with a Mission, a startup program that places musicians in nursing homes and hospitals, seeks assistance creating a simple website and basic marketing plan. [case 545 – 2nd Listing...a great team project for a marketer and web designer!]
~Essence of Joy Alumni Singers, which performs sacred & secular music from the African and African-American traditions, seeks assistance drafting a PR plan to grow its media coverage. [case 549 – NEW]
~Guiding Star Dance Foundation, which promotes Indian art and culture, seeks assistance with grant research, strategy and planning. [case 548 – NEW]
