6th Annual Silk Screen: Asian American Film Festival

Will take place in Pittsburgh PA May 6-15, 2011

 This will be our 6th year of presenting a great selection of films and events in support of our mission – Celebrating diversity and multi-cultural appreciation of the Asian and Asian American experience through cultural art events.

 We invite you to submit feature length, narrative films that fit that bill.

Paper Politics is a major exhibition of politically and socially engaged printmaking. The exhibit showcases print art which uses themes of social justice and global equity to engage community members in political con-versation. The show has now been hung in several venues in the United States and Canada.

    The exhibition features work by over 180 artists from the US and around the world; an eclectic collection of work by artists who are primarily activists, as well as artists whose work may not always be politically moti-vated, but who wanted to respond to the monumental trends and events of our times.When: August 13 – October 24, 2010
